Please be advised that Wellscroft Farm will be making a change to their regular business hours. The hours of operation will vary depending on the season.

Effective October 1, 2011 and each subsequent year, our regular business hours will be as follows:

October through February

• 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
  
• 8:00 a.m. – Noon, Saturdays

March through September

• 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday
  
• 8:00 a.m. – Noon, Saturdays

We are closed on holidays and annual inventory days.

Welcome to Wellscroft Farm

Since 1975, Wellscroft Farm has thrived as one of New England's largest working sheep farms. Over the past thirty-five years, owner David Kennard, along with his shepherds have brought Wellscroft Farm to where it is today. In 2005, the eleven thousandth lamb was born on the farm, which now consists of a flock of roughly 200 commercial Dorset-Cross ewes. Located in Southwest New Hampshire, in the town of Chesham, Wellscroft Farm has built up its excellence earning it the award of NH Farm of Distinction in 1999.

In addition to the flock, David raises and trains Border Collies which he uses on the Farm every day. He is also widely known and praised throughout New England for his entertaining and informative herding demonstrations.
