A Bit About The
Ewes |

|
| Our
flock of 200 ewes are a commercial dorset-cross. We have chosen
this cross for out-of-season breeding, good milking, fast growing
'hot house' and freezer lambs. In addition, dorset wool is of
high quality which is why we use it for our blankets. About
one third of our ewes are colored which we have selected for
their recessive black gene and use the naturally colored wool
in our Monadnock blankets.
